I think I'd crop out the beach and have just water in the BG. Other than that, really nice. Great sense of motion.

Great capture, Sandy. I, too, would crop to eliminate the sandbar/beach in the top background, and then take a sliver (up to the edge of the splash) off the right. Then I would print it!

Great shot Sandy - I too would be interested to see the photo with the beach cropped out.

Excellent shot and wonderful detail, I like the water drool and eye contact, I would be inclined to remove some of the top also. Well done, a pleasure to view the larger image.

Hmmmm, I appreciate people's thoughts on the beach. But I'm not looking for a pano here, and want to be able to print it at usual proportions. Maybe I'll try cloning in more water at the top.

Very well done, the catch light on the eye is especially nice. Gonna have to disagree about cropping out the beach. I like the slight tilt to it which gives a sense of motion and flow to the water.

LOL, keep the beach, lose the beach... I like the beach in there. I think the crop would crowd the bear into an uninteresting scene. The beach has tracks on it, gives the bear more space and the viewer a sense that the bear is foraging over some area, working hard to find and capture food. IMHO. Love it the way it is. She's a beautiful bear and you really showed her off well in some great light and nice action.
