Thanks to all who commented on my last photo from Point Lobos. I can honestly say I still don't know which crop to go with, but you have helped me narrow it down a bit.

Here is another image from the Big Sur Workshop from two weekends ago. This is a stitched panoramic from 5 vertical images on the D2x stitched in PS CS3. I think it did a great job. Taken about an hour before sunset. I also did a panoramic using the 4x5, with two sheets of film and I hope to post that one soon when the films get back.

Your comments and critiques appreciated.

Very nice pano Youssef, I like the composition and the light a lot. The water is really nice too!
In my screen it looks a little oversharpened and I´d tone down the greens a little. Don´t know if others will see it as I do.

Very nice
Luis

Youssef,
Nice image. I like the pano crop and the stitching is seamless. On my monitor, could use a little more saturation. But still, a very pleasing image. Love to see the 4x5. Best Regards.

What a different coastline from where I live! The large size version detail is sweet, but having never seen this in person I'm struggling with scale. How big are these "rocks and cliffs"? Very pretty, and I would love to see this scene in person!

Yeah, the crop isn't working so great on this one. Feels cut in half. Seriously looks like a good place to explore for some great oceanscapes though.

The pano treatment works for me... my eye sweeps around the coastline and rocks nicely into the distant hills. I might prefer the brighter portions of dirt/rock on the left burned down a wee bit, but other than that this is some nice California coastal scenery captured here.

This is a gorgeous part of our local coastline and I really love the manner in which you have captured the scene and presented it. A beautiful photograph, Youssef.

Nice side lighting here and the stich is perfect can't see any oddness in the water. You must of been fast enough or the water was calm enough. Nice work Youssef.
