Salad

A field of lettuce growing in a field behind my house. This was captured about a half an hour after the sun had set with the resulting magenta sky. I prefer subjects that are of untouched nature, but things have kept me close to home lately. So, I've been looking for good light and use the subjects at hand. The white line below the horizon are sprinklers - just to give some perspective.

Ever wondered where your organic salad came from - here it is. The Big Salad (larger version) is even tastier.

Pretty cool image. Love the lines leading you in. Rich colors. You are right about the Big Salad being even tastier!! Nicely done.

I love this one Russ, was searching my home area early in the year for some good corn rows, but never got anything close to this. Not sure about the pale balsamic sky as dressing, but the greens look fabulous!! :toast:

Great title, I've been wanting to take a shot like this for a while. This is a great shot, really like the colour contrast in this one.
