Sandy: I enjoy looking at high speed hummingbird photography images. This one is very nice. Wings are in a great position, the backdrop you used works well with just a splash of pink. I wish the hummer's beak wasn't merged with the flower. I'd also like a little more room on the left so the leaves were not touching the left edge. With those minor nits, this is still a lovely hummer image.

Very neat species Sandy. My preference too would be if the bill weren't in front of the flower too. I can't tell what it is, but on the lower portion of the bird, the edges look they have a halo or something?? Maybe it's just me. I would try to sharpen the head/eye a little more.

Beautiful image, Sandy. Lovely colors, esp the pinkish flowers against the hummer colors.
What I really like about this compared to a lot of hummer images is that the bird is on a level plane. Very well done.

Sandy, a realy nice natural looking hummer shot. The BG is super and I love the comp. I also go along with Keith's suggestions for improving this a bit more. Well done.

Nicely done Sandy. I hope you had the trip of a lifetime down there. The leaves in the upper left hand corner are very sharp while the rest of the image appears just a little bit soft like the focus was maybe slightly behind the bird. Would like to see a larger version of this for more details. I will echo the comments about halos. With that being said I think the background blends beautifully with the colors of the hummer and the foliage. Beautiful image Sandy. Hope you have more from your trip.
