To say the least, UPSET!

I made a collage of 3 pictures I took to show what I encountered in one area. I used my canon 40D. With different settings which I was not concerned about, I just want to show the disrespect more and more people have for nature.

This past weekend I went back to a wilderness area in our national forest close to where I live. I make 2 to 3 trips a year. It is a great area for photography. The area is open to camping for those that like to fuff-it. It is also has hunting for small game, turkey, deer and bear. No buildings anywhere, no water or electric hooks for trailers. Minimum road access.

People also go there just to walk, hike and for horseback riding.

This is the first time I have seen this type of mess. The makeshift toilet and mattress was left at 2 seperate campsites. The trash was left where the road is blocked where someone (I assume)took the opportunity to clean out there vehicle!. People park here to make the 30 minute hike through the woods to a Lake called "Slate Lick" to just hike and take in the views or to go fishing.

I would love to encounter someone leaving this type of mess. They do not care if they distroy what is out there for people to enjoy!!!

I could go on and on, I just wanted to express my frustration and anger!!!!

Thanks for looking.

There are dirty slobs everywhere. They do this sort of thing without giving it a second thought. They leave their picnic trash behind; they get rid of junk and construction debris by dumping; they discard their tangled fishing line wherever they happen to be fishing; they throw their cigarette butts on the ground everywhere. There's probably not much we can do to change their ways. But we can teach our children to appreciate nature and clean cities and not to be slobs.

It is very aggravating,I know. They throw out their trash and used tires right on the roadside just a half mile from my house. I've found that if I pick it up there seems to be less of it and it is less frequent. Makes me feel good too. All you can do is just do your part, every little bit helps. Ron
