Lefroy Lake

This is Lefroy Lake located around the Lake O'Hara region in B.C., this whole area compiled of 10+ lakes all within a couple days worth of hiking, is one of the most beautiful areas I have seen in the Canadian rockies easily comparable to Moraine Lake or Lake Louise and a fraction of the people...

A beautiful scene to be sure, but the flat lighting does take away from it somewhat I'm afraid. Still a pretty image though.

Solid image, Simon! It has a very quieting feel to it that I like very much. I like the rust colored rocks, they compliment the color of the lake nicely.

This is beautiful Simon. The warm tones in the foreground rocks, the greens of the lake, and the nice detail in the mountains really make this excellent to me. Very nice.

Strong comp and beautiful color captured here. I particularly enjoy the differences in texture and details of the top half. Very nice!

I really like the colors here but I don't know about the hard line in the reflection. Ron

Wonderful foreground and reflection. The contrast between the intense colors and the unsaturated areas makes for a nice, dynamic comp.

What a beauty Simon! The colors are spectacular. A colorful sky is not needed here. Well done.

Beautiful image. But the cloudy sky really bothers me. Especially with the v in the mountain pass, my eye is drawn away from the beauty upwards to the dull sky. I would crop out the top third of the photo. The mountains and sky are IMO way too distractingly out of place with this fine color and details.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I agree that the light is a bit dull but to get to this area you have to book 3 months in advance so I cant pick and choose the days I go and unfortunatly it was cloudy that day...but I still love the colours in this one
