Via ferrata

Hey guys!
Seems like forever since I posted a photo here. It's been very busy for me, but thankfully it was quite productive especially with photography. The same for you I see, you posted a lot of great works which leave me in awe every time I visit the site.
In the following weeks I'll post some images from a cool trip I did in the Dolomites Mountains and also from trips around my parts.
This image, although made during the day, is one of my favorites from Italy, not necessarily for the amazing interplay of light and shadow, but more because it was taken on a via ferrata route (mountain route equipped with fixed cables, stemples, ladders and bridges), Ivano Dibona on Monte Cristallo. It's an easy route, but it's very spectacular. Hope you like it! For more images from Italy check the 'New work' section on my website.

Wow what a view Dorin. Good to see your stuff again. The mountain ranges look endless and I love the shadows and light dancing across them. Nice job
Thanks for sharing

This is definitely a grand scene Dorin, looks like an amazing place to explore. I'm always drawn to images like this with lots of light and shadow play. They might not have that warm/golden sunrise or sunset color, but the mix of light and shadow is inspiring to me.

Nice work, look forward to more photos from your trip.

I love the clouds Dorin. Looks like an awesome day to be hiking. The middle of the image seems a bit dark IMO, but fantastic sharpening for the web and the colors look natural and perfectly rendered. Sweet work!

I've heard of these routes, Dorin, but had no idea they lead to such fantastic views. Must've been a great adventure.

That vista is marvelous. It must have been amazing in person. I'm not quite sure about the immediate foreground, but the rest really sings.

Love the lofty view. The contrast is just perfectly handled to show off the interplay of light and shadow resulting from those clouds.

Looks like an aerial shot--cool! I might have waited for some light on the most prominent peak here, i think that might have made this stronger. But i love the clouds and view!
