This is a composite of a sky shot with a Canon I no longer have.
The feather is a stacked image shot as a series of 8 images shot at f/8, -.7 EV, tripod.
I wanted to create an image that focused on the idea that there is hope today, in spite of politics, differing opinions, war, the economy, as well as all else that is negative.
The feather and the lighter edges of the clouds symbolize hope, and the darker portions of the sky and the clouds of course portray the despair.
I thought all look pretty good as a tif image but once converted to jpg, I wasn't so sure ...
Questions:
What do you think of the size of the feather?
Is it too white?
What can be done IYO to improve the image?
Thanks for looking and leaving your critiques, ideas, and suggestions.

7 commentsTh size of the feather seems good to me. It shouldn't be any larger, and it wouldn't hurt if it were a little smaller, so I guess you put it near, but not past the upper limit of the size range.
It's not too white, in fact, both the feather and the clouds could stand to be a little whiter. The problem is that it will look different on different monitors. If I were to view this on my monitor at work, it would appear much brighter than it does on my monitor here at home.
