Juvenile Mallard

The remaining young mallards remain frisky, although most seem to have left the pond now. Some their behaviour is quite bizarre, leaping vertically in the air and landing in an ungainly heap. On this occasion, the splashes were rather more artistic!

Interesting pose and I like the flying water droplets Ian. The softness of the blues in the water really appeals to me. Nice low perspective too.

I really like the low angle you get in your images. Great image.

Marvelous! I love the very low angle and the droplets in the air, also the tiny droplets glistening on the breast. The duck even seems to be smiling, as if he too is pleased with this picture.

Very special image : unusual perspective and excellent BG make the animal look like suspended in nothingness.

This is just wonderful Ian. Great low angle, cute pose, flying water droplets, light and water. This has a dreamy look to it that I quite like.
