Still horrible weather here so here's another from June in SW Queensland.

Love the pose, eye, and muted, complimentary colors.
I'd personally clone out that little branch to the left of the left wing - just a tiny nit.

Really pleasant image , I like a lot color tones and comp with the bird framed by plant.
Would be mine, I would have cloned leaves on bottom right.
However, a fascinating image.

Excellent work Rob. If I may only suggest a less centered comp, otherwise it's fabulous. Lot of these guys my way.

I like the comp here Rob. I also like the DOF, light, and nice head turn. A wonderful BG as usual. Well done as usual.

A very pleasing image. Lovely muted colors. Excellent detail, especially in the feather texture and bark on the branch. A neat bird as well - colors reminiscent of the Verdin of the American southwest. Setting is very nice.

Beautiful shot Rob, so perfect it seems like a setup, although I doubt it is. :toast:

I love the subtle colors of the bird that are complimented by the subtle background. The overall intrusion of the plant works for me with the relatively centered comp.

Excellent! I hadn't noticed the intruding branch/leaves, but now they've been mentioned, I agree they are a slight distraction.

WOW Rob. Absolutely no nits from me on this one. Beautiful composition, perch, background, habitat, feather detail, head turn, and sharpness. The lighting is very soft as well. I don't know if this would improve the image at all but maybe clone out the two reddish leaves in the lower right hand conrner. Beautiful!!!

Love everything about it. Agree with the suggestion to clone the leave in LRC.

Hi Rob,
Nice clean image. Details look great and the smooth background really sets the bird off. I think the bird is too centered. I guess you were trying to minimize the intrusion of all the right side branches. Anyway still a nice image.

Rob, I think this is magnificent. The colors are subtle but there is plenty of impact from the bird, setting, pose and more. I love it. Wish it were in my files.
