Adirondack Falls

This is Wilmington Notch falls not far from Whiteface mountain in the Adirondack Park. It's often photographed, being a roadside falls. I do notice where the grad filter has darkened the URC too much. Nikon D80..18-50 lens

Very nice, consider a pano crop to take out the grad line in the trees. Very well done. Was this taken recently?

Welcome to ESS! Gorgeous color in the hills and excellent composition. I think I would try lightening the URC somewhat before cropping to pano as the clouds and the patch of blue in the sky is so nice, and much of that would be lost if cropped. A very inviting scene Donald.

Welcome onboard Donald, great first post indeed! Gorgeous light and colours on the distant hills, and a lovely stream and cascades in the foreground. If you shot in RAW, the dark patch on the right should be easily recovered. The best way to do this is re-processing the image increasing the exposure by about 1 or 1.5 stops, and then blending the interested area on the originally processed image.

Really nice take, keep them coming.

Nice scene and light. That calico mountain in back in really neat. Could see maybe dodging the trees in the URC as they seem too dark and maybe cropping the stray branches in the ULC as they don's seem to make much of a frame.

When I first saw this I thought it was the falls in Hadly/Luzerne on the Hudson River. The similarity is amazing.
