We had a short shower. Well the shot speaks for itself.

I feel bad for the little guy, it looks miserable. It certainly conveys a mood. The BG has nice shades of green. Overall the image looks soft and I might enlarge the crop a bit.

One wet bird, Jay. I like the large drop of water on the bottom of the twig-it brings a lot of context to the image. :toast:

Bad feather day. The look on the face of the bird is great, looking disgruntled by the look of its feathers. Great image.

Jay, I tend to like shots like this that depict the realities of existence which isn't always pretty. I like the way the hanging water drop helps to explain what's going on here. Pretty difficult to critique the image effectively at this very small size though.

I too like the reality of living life in the wild. This bird got a bath weather it wanted one or not. Head may be a bit soft, but it is hard to tell. Nice as posted.

Jay,

I like to see birds where the conditions might not be perfect but shows the day to day life of the birds. This little hummer looks a bit bedraggled from the rain and that evokes a feeling of empathy for it. It is difficult to judge image quality at the size posted, sharpness & details included. I'd like to see more space around the bird, especially on the right side of the frame. It feels tigh.

A very pleasant image, both for wet subject, water drop and wonderful background.
As others say, appears a bit soft.

Yikes, looks like he fell in a bucket of water, really drenched. I would like a little more space on the right side so he doesn't appear so confined.
