Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/3.5, 1/640, ISO 200.

I was amazed at the color of these roses, and tried to capture them to the best of my ability. It was windy and overcast so I had to up the speed to 1/640sec @F/3.5. These roses had beautiful color I have never seen. I hope I captured some of their beauty. Comments appreciated.

My first thought was of opals I've seen Albert. Love the color and textures and the bg separation is excellent. I wouldn't mind a crop from the sides but I'm not suggesting it either. Beautiful image.

The colors in these are great! And the soft light brings it out beautifully. The 3 roses makes for a strong composition, too. You might try Pat's crop suggestion, but still excellent as is. :toast:

Albert:
Lovely colors indeed, peachy pink. Strong triangular shape comp and nice bg. Might be tempted to clone out the highly reflective drops.

Elegant, elegant color, Albert. Do cut one and take it indoors to really do justice to it.

Beautiful separation from the background.

My 2-cents on framing would be to crop but only from the right. That would provide you with a beautiful slightly lop-side upside-down V as a composition and the branch in the LR corner would draw the eye in from that corner to the roses.

Just lovely.

Yes, you captured some of their beauty.

The color is very pretty Albert and I think that you captured it well. My only suggestion would be on comp - to have the blooms a bit less centered in the frame.

Albert: Beautiful flowers indeed and a fine capture. A crop to 5:4 would work better for me. >=))>

Ditto what others have mentioned - pretty colours but the comp could be a bit different.

A delightful feeling of vulnerability about this, Albert - I am not quite sure why !! Maybe the depth and openness of the bg which seems to isolate the flowers. Very beautiful image.
