Welcome to Valdez, Alaska. A travel type postcard. The cleared land in the foreground is the site of the Old Town (pre 1964 earthquake). The New Town is in the background. The old townsite is a glacial moraine which is very unstable in a large earthquake so the town was relocated on more stable land.

Kind of a longish postcard, but a pretty scene--ill buy it! (so long as its under a buck :wink: )

An unusually clear day in Valdez; well done. I'd have probably cropped a bit tighter to lose the Alyeska Marine terminal tanker on the left. Nice work on the color.
