Camping by Needles overlook outside of Canyonlands National Park. A fun day filled with stormlight. I thought this thunderstorm was a bit odd in that it traveled directly East to West...Nikon FM2 28-70 Tokina lens E100 film

I am really surprised that this has no comments yet. The drama in this desert scene is fantastic as is the interplay of light and shadow. This is a beautiful image, Donald.

Hi Donald,
I think your processing looks very solid, especially the sharpness of the FG. I love how you have handled the colors too. For me, I think the background looks a litte too dark, especially on the right hand side. If you could lighten up that area and pull more detail out of the deepest views I think the image would improve. Excellent light

Everything about this landscape is just working for me. The strong contrast enhance the colors of the FG.

Seriously awesome shot. Not sure if it's the way you processed this, or just the lighting, but that is some scary cloud mojo going on in the background. Awesome how the foreground is lit up with all that darkness back there. Comp is decent too, probably can't get much better on the side of the cliff like that.
