That's an awesome pose Sharon and your techs are right on the money! Love the intense blue sky for this bird too. Big congrats for this fine image. :toast:

Nice pose you've captured here Sharon, I'm thinking I may have stopped down a touch in this situation, for a touch more DOF. Image is sharp inside the DOF you have and the light is looking good.

A wonderful image, Sharon. Beautiful pose, perch and comp. I especially like how the yellow in the throat matches with the flowers. :toast:

Thats a lovely image, Sharon. It's a clean image with a simple composition, top shot IMO.

A great comp here Sharon. Love the pose of the bird with great eye contact and catchlight. Love the mullen stalk perch. Tail looks very sharp with the beak just a bit less so. May be a DOF thing being at f/4, or a slight motion blurr being at 1/320s. Overall, a very nice image.

Sharon,
I came back to this one several times. Love the pose - great head turn- and the color of the flowers are a nice complement to the yellow in the throat IMO.

Two thumbs up!

Sharon

Nice getting this warbler so out in the open and the mullein perch is lovely. I love the head angle, the view of the back, light in the eye and the details. In the field I may have increaded the ISO some to gain enough shutter speed to obtain just a slight bit more dof to get the tip of the mullein and the bill as sharp as the rest of the bird, but heck; I know these little warblers don't often stick around long enough to even think about changing settings. That said; I'd still love to have this in my files.

Terrific pose; nice setting and composition. I might go slightly darer or increase contrast a tiny amount.

You couldn't get a better pose out of this little bird. Nice of him to sit on a complimentary colored perch. Excellent image.

Wonderful head turn and tail angle from this warbler Sharon. And I really like the matching yellows in perch and bird in combination with that nicely blue sky. The tail does look sharper than the head and beak to my eye.
