Divine Dallas Divide

I attended Todd & Bret's workshop this weekend in Ouray (well, part of it anyway - I couldn't make it on Fri. :frown:) We went to some great spots around Telluride on Sat., and finished up Sun. morning at the Dallas Divide. Awesome view! (Honestly, there wasn't anywhere in the area that didn't have an awesome view.) This was my first time in this area and I really enjoyed it. The sunrise wind was a bit nippy, but I survived

Nice work Angela. I was there that morning too. I am surprised we didn't run into each other. If it were mine, I'd crop up just a bit on the fg. It looks like there is some motion in the trees there. Have a great day.

Man, that is a shocking amount of green for early October! Nice sweeping view of the range, though.

The soft light cast across this beautiful scene works well to highlight various points of interests. I'd clone out that lone cloud just to simply things, but that's just me. Nice work!

Angela,

This is such a classic location and a beautiful vantage point. I think you could use just a touch cooler white balance with this. Just 200-300K lower, not much. The sky seems a little gray and the shadows don't show much blue. A slightly cooler tone might help the yellows pop just a bit more too.
