Beautiful image Morris. Love the rich colors but I also like the composition and the detail. I'm really glad you left this in landscape format rather than taking it vertical. The supporting bg on the sides adds a lot to the image. Very fine work. No suggestions on my part.

Nice approach on the fireweed Morris. I like the sharp focus on the front 3 blossoms and the out of focus and soft background fuchsia colors as complements :toast:

Morris, best of all I like the soft fuschia-colored background. The white of the filaments really pops out.

Nice job.

Cheers,

Carol

Morris,
I really admire your work. Steve Traudt of Grande Junction, Colo. was to give our photo club a hdr flower workshop in october but had to cancel until spring. Do you know of Steve?
Thank you for your comments on my images.

Thanks all! :wavey:
Jay, I'm sorry, I don't know Steve. I'll have to check out his work. I live In Parker on the eastern slope, which we call "the front range" around here, and Grand Junction is on the western slope. I don't get a chance to get over that far very often.
Keep those posts and comments coming!

Wow..Another stunner from you Morris. This is my second favourite of this flower (the previous one was a vertical with a classy pink background, which now seems to be archived.).

Like your decision to centre this, Morris ( not quite sure why, but I do !! ). I guess probably because of the lovely spray of petals, making for a very appealing shot.

Morris:
Very beautifully captured flowers. I particular like the pink blushes in the creamy bg.
