These bookcliffs are in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am glad I finally got the chance to shoot these. I have been wanting to for years.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thank you for looking,

Morris

I like the comp and light here, Morris. The glow on the top of the mountains is nice and I like the highlighted grass. Good you made it there finally.

Beautiful scene Morris! The lighting really brings out the texture of the cliffs.

Thanks for sharing the context to your ESS image. The golden light seems perfect for this scene.

Great light and image. Driving down Interstate 70 I've always thought about exploring these cliffs

Morris, the golden light is amazing!! Love how you placed the road in the frame - it really draws the eyes up to the cliffs. Beautiful capture :toast:

Minimalistic comp, simple and effective. I like it very much as presented. I also wouldn't mind a tiny bit skimmed off of the sky as well. Nice work Morris.
