Sunset. The sun was shining just behind the cliffs on the right.
Sometimes this place during the sunset is really awesome, and in winter, to stay alone here in front of her majesty Mother Nature is all that I can ask..

I like the horizontal crop. This is very pretty.

The large version is really sweet, and packed with detail. I notice a halo along the ridgeline, but that's easily fixed.

Thanks.
Yes Bill, I noticed too, but in my opinion is the sun that was shining just behind the ridgeline.
Thanks again!!

Gorgeous scene Ale. It looks like there is just a touch too much shadow detail, but not seriously so. The colour balancing and mix of lighting looks superb as does the overall level of saturation depicted. One thing that I find slightly more obtrusive is the level of sharpening applied it seems just a little heavy and has caused both this and the large image to look just a little too scrunchy sharp. I would suggest backing it off a touch. Excellent composition though with beautiful light.

Killer shot! The greens in the foreground along with the gold/orange of the sunset are superb. The blend is very well done as well. It looks quite natural to my eye. I like a sharpened photo & respectfully disagree with Ian's assessment IMHO. I'm sure some others may disagree. Great shot!

Beautiful scene, Alessandro. I like the sparse forest like feel mixed with the rocky coastline. The details look a bit oversharpened and crunchy to me (especially noticeable along areas like the ridge in the upper right, and around the top of the island).

Nice light and blending. There is a lot to look at and enjoy It looks like tough light, but you handled it well. Edges feel a bit crispy here, but that getting nit-picky.

Slick processing Alessandro. You did an admirable job with the spacing of the elements within the scene. The beautiful tree on the right hand side anchors the compsition well. Great job on the blend, although you have some sharpening artifacts along on the edges of the cliffs. Wonderful work.

You mean Cala Cipolla, right?
What a wonderful place Alessandro, you're indeed very lucky for living so close to such a paradise. I love everything about this picture, from the displacement of the trees, the beautifully shaped reef, the calm sea up to the gorgeous colours of sunset.
The strong web-sharpening is really the only nit to be mentioned, but this of course doesn't affect by any mean the original, full size image.

Fantastic work, I do need to visit Sardinia again very soon, maybe already this winter

Thank you very much indeed Paolo and yes it mean "Cala Cipolla" about 40 minutes by car from my house!
I strongly recommend to visit Sardinia in winter for a Landscapes Photographer for a lot of reasons but especially for the weather, the sky is so interesting, as the sea, and second reason there isn't tourists (people and cars) all along the coast and beaches..
Don't forget to send me an email. I will be very happy to show you some special places!
