While we were taking a look around the emerald pools in Zion National Park as I happened to walk past one of the smaller pools a little way back into the canyon. There was such a burst of colour that I thought this image was worth a share.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by for a look.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcome and appreciated.

Nice shot, Mark. Especially for handheld. Excellent colors in the reflections.

Oh, this is really nice Mark. Gorgeous color and nicely composed. Looks pretty darn sharp for handheld @ 1/13 (much sharper than I could ever do!!) Beautiful image.

I would tone down the saturation on the blues, but otherwise, this is really pretty.

The blues along the rock edges are a little electric, so a little work on those and this will be superb.

Stellar image Mark. Nicely seen and I'm quite fond of the contrasting warm and cool colors. :toast:

Very pretty Mark. I would have been tempted to splash a little water on the dry parts of the rocks.
