Very nice shot, Geoffrey. the light and the BG are perfect.
I like the pose of the ladybug looking down at the base of the flowers.

Good color contrast between the ladybird and the perch. Like the placement and the bg. Toning down the highlight may improve this.

Hi Geoffrey I find this a wonderful capture!! The ladybird has vibrant color and detail. And the B/G. and plant harmonize so well with the subject.
