This is the ceiling of an overhang in Canyonlands, Ut march 2009

I held the tripod against the wall and myself with camera above my head using the remote and on camrea flash.

Is the lighting and detail okay?

Lighting looks nice Jay. Very cool image. It makes for a nice abstract. Might look nice in BW.

Lovely abstract. Thanks for the description of what we are viewing as I probably wouldn't have guessed a overhead view. Lovely textures, lines, and warmth. Not sure why you posted this in PA as you could have posted this in ES&S and gotten more eyeballs and perhaps more comments. I'll use one of my daughter's favorite sayings... "disturbing, but oddly soothing" A very well seen image.
