A sunset scene from Mt Tamalpais just north of San Francisco. Out in the distance sits the Pacific Ocean.

Nice one, Mike. The abstract quality of the hills is outstanding.

Very peaceful with some nice natural colours. I find I get drawn toward the bottom left corner where that hill is poking in, so I'd opt to crop a bit off the bottom to remove that element. Otherwise it all looks good.

This makes me love the way the California hills turn golden in the off season.

Oooh, been there, done that! Well not this good anyway. But I know that spot. I stood there, or neat there while the marine layer came in and up the slope, and eventually engulfed me. It would have been nice to capture the earth shadow as you have done here.

Love the hills and the soft colors of the sky. I might crop the bottom as Kenn suggested, but really nice take on this scene.

Good color and diagnonal lines, Mike. This is an area that I
must photograph some day.

Nicely done. I would like to see the hills fill more of the frame, they have such cool texture.

I like this a lot Mike. The bushes/trees give a nice sense of scale which is appreciated. The comp is very nice IMO, and I love the sky color!

This just screams 'coastal hills of california'. Beautiful light, and what a landscape. Agree with the crop suggestion

Beautiful light. Soft and pastel in nature. Shows Mt. Tam. very well. I need to visit it again soon.
