Eastham Wood

This was taken at my local woodland. It's only a 10 minute drive from my house. As you can see, the leaves are not quite at there best colours yet but I liked the contrast between the dappled sunlit greens and the fallen brown leaves.

All feedback, good or bad is welcome and thanks for looking.

Gary.

Very nice comp with the foreground double trunk serving as an off-center focal point. Nice light too. The image doesn't wow me, but it is very pleasant and easy to view.

A very pleasant feel in this picture. Very nice comp and all the leaves on the ground look great. With all the ones on the ground its amazing that the trees still have so many green ones left. Looks like a wonderful place to walk around and enjoy.

Great contrast between the two different color leaves. I like the hint of light that's working it's way through the trees. Well done in my eyes, a nice section of woods that looks pleaseing to visit.

Hi Gary,

Your processing looks wonderful - just enough red in the soil and greens are vibrant and realistic. The light is nice and your web sharpening looks about perfect. The small nit I have is the llc corner feels a bit empty; it certainly isn't deal breaker, but a rock or something to take up some space would have been nice. Overall, excellent work!

Wow, what a great forest scene. Love the intense greens and the bareness of the forest floor with just the fallen leaves. Nice and inviting. Great work Gary.

Very elegant composition. The lower left is a bit empty but this is very minor.
