Hot Pink

I discovered this little guy growing out of a cliff about a foot off the floor of a dark ravine while out searching for landscapes last weeekend. It's width is only about 1/2 inch and I was suprised to find it in such pristine condition. In processing it was hard keeping it from looking oversharpened. Studying it before taking the shot it appeared to be covered with tiny crystals, in fact I cloned out some of the brigher ones before sharpening.
Comments always welcome, thanks for looking.

Bruce, I think this little leaf really pops out from the background. Your f/stop decision was a very good one.

Would suggest a minor crop from the top.

Nice job.

Outstanding, both your capture and the leaf. In fact so outstanding, it appears almost three dimensional.
Beautiful job Bruce!

Excellent detail Bruce and I like the placement in the frame. Complementary colors, good dof decision, fine exposure. I don't really have any suggestions on this one. I like it as posted. Wish I knew what the plant is.

Bruce, Certainly a nice 3D effect here. Technically sound with the whole leaf in perfect focus. Nice Work

Well done separation from BG. The colors and leaf details are very good. The blue BG (top portion) is a bit disturbing. Slight cropping would help. Nicely done Bruce.

Great color and the crop suggestion makes this even stronger. Excellent work.
