Enjoying the fall color here in Washington State.

Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS, ISO 800, f/16, 0.8 sec.

High ISO as it was getting pretty dark. Thanks for looking!

Very nice! That red pops against the watery background. Reminds of Japanese style art, for sure. I'm seeing an inspiring haiku in the URC. :toast:

Nice! Just enough red leaves in the foreground to complement the whitewater.

I was somewhat drawn to the thumbnail. I really like the larger image. I really like the amount of texture in the water.

This is a pretty unique comp and the red leaves sure do stand out against that cool water. Very interesting. I, too, immediately thought of a Japanese painting when I saw this.

Great idea with the red plant. The eye is drawn right to it and the water becomes secondary. Really like it Justin.

Simple and beautiful Justin. The red leaves against the cold running water is so appealing. Great shot. :toast:

Justin ...fantastic work ...stunning art work ..! ..Your choice of the vertical works very well here and the blue with a contrasting red at the bottom makes this image ...well done ...

A classic take on rapids and fall colours, masterfully executed. I love how you place the shrub, right where the lack of surf on the river makes it stand out perfectly. I wouldn't mind to see this cropped from above of about 1/8, but I like it as you presented it too.

I love the idea here--but i think its too tall, top portion takes your eye too far from the red. For that reason id crop for a 4X5 vertical. Very nice! :wavey:
