Abstractions in water

I had long seen this kind of image in my mind, an image of the landscape seen in a very abstract way. I found a little river near Uppsala in Sweden, just narrow enough to catch the reflections of the trees in the water from the opposite side with my 24-105mm. I shot a few different versions which have different kind of ripples on the surface, this one is the one like the most.
EOS 5D mark II, 24-105@105mm

Looks very painterly Anders. I would be tempted to turn it upside down.

Nice, Anders. The ripples and light make for a fantastic canvas. Could see burning the top down some to better balance the light across the frame.

Like a watercolor painting! Very appealing work Anders! The dark green bottom right is maybe a tiny bit distracting, but that's subjective obviously.
