Great job Jimmy. Your processing here is just stellar. I would love to read an article on how you process your aspen shots. The clarity and colors of these shots are not something easily replicated. That being said, I do find the pine tress a bit distracting, especially the one in the fg. So I don't think this is one of your best, but you have the market corned on fantastic landscape aspen shots.

The composition might be a little unbalanced, but the subtle light and the intimate beauty of the trees make up for that.

I love the balance and contrast of the leaves throughout the image. Only suggestions... I'd crop in off the left a tad, that area breaks the foreground aspen consistency.

Simple, well composed. I like the darker aspen trunks "hiding" in the background.

Very well composed, Jimmy. It has a three dimensional affect to me.
I also like the colors.

This has got to be your favorite tree Jimmy. Once again a beautiful display of an aspen forest. I like how I can look back through the foreground trees and see those in the background that seem to go on forever. Nice work.

Gosh, I never even noticed the pine 'til someone mentioned it. I think this is a fine image. The white trunks are almost glowing. My one complaint would be the paucity of your narrative. I love to read about how beautiful images are taken. Whether it's the camera settings or what was happening with the light around you or how you spotted this or what processing tricks make it work. I'm interested in what you have to say in addition to seeing your pictures.

It's easy to anyone who shoots aspen, or any other tree for that matter, how much thought went into this comp. To put that curving aspen in the opening of the three trees on the left is fairly brilliant. Marvelous work!

Superb, Jimmy. The aspen boles almost appear like drapery, with ever slight motion from a breeze. You certainly have a gift for aspen images.

So your trip wasn't all drama and car wrecks, huh? Again, so glad you were able to walk away from that. This nis na nice shot with very strong verticals. I like the different angles of lean between the fron row of boles, and the background ones. Nie!

Those trunks really jump off the screen Jimmy. They have a very 3D look because of the soft side lighting. Very cool.
