It was really breezy when i shot this so dropped the plan of stacking to get the lower portion in focus but in retrospect i think it jus right amount of DOF as it puts more intrest on the top where the actual bloom lies! wot do u guys think?

Flower Name:- Silky Woundwort (Stachys sericea)
Tv- 200, Av- 8.0, ISO- 200, Handheld

I like this vertical arrangement. Simple color palette & excellent combination flower-BG. Nicely done Krunal.

Could go either way Krunal on the detail in the lower part of the plant but I certainly don't consider it's absence a problem in the image. Great supporting bg here and separation - especially given the similarity in colors. I also like the centered composition here. This may be my favorite in your series so far. Beautiful work for my tastes. No suggestions.

Hi Krunal,

Really like the DOF in this image. A wild flower.

Like the presence of the "silk. And sure wish you had been able to include a larger image. I think I would have liked seeing the details more closely,

This is lovely, Krunal. I especially enjoy the diffused lighting on the bloom as well as the bg. Excellent bg for the flower. Nicely executed.

Krunal:
One of your best of this Himalayan wildflowers series so far. Love the bg bokeh and how the flower pops. :toast:

Krunal, my first thought was to wish for sharper focus at the bottom. However, after looking some more, I like it as is. Nice BG also.

Krunal, Nice dappled background makes your stem really stand out. Another cool looking flower. No problem with the stem losing focus at the bottom at all. Lots more interest upwards for that to become prominent.

Another different offering to be enjoyed from your part of the world. Looks similar to our penstemmon, but yet different. Nice shot.
