Old Homestead

Haven't posted anything in M&N in ages, but I thought I might try this one. It's all that's left of an old Florida homestead. The really sad part is that the owner of the property tore down this proud old relic the week after I shot this (for no other reason than to just use the bricks for some project). At least that's recycling, but it still broke my heart to see it go. LARGER version available.

D2X w/ Tokina ATX 12-24 @ 14mm
1/13 @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release
100 ISO
Don't remember about any filtration, probably a polarizer though
Tripod
Capture One 4, CS4, TK's Luminosity & Saturation Masks, Marc's web sharpening

Critiques, suggestions, and comments always welcomed and greatly ppreciated. Thanks for looking.

Hi Eva - The house was an old sharecroppers home that went away many years ago, probably in the 60's. They were wooden dwellings, usually 2 or 3 rooms, without inside plumbing. You used to see these all over the south when I was growing up; sometimes you will still see a chimney here or there, but that's about it.
