The Last Dahlia

This may be "The Last Dahlia," at least for me and this year. The local dahlia farm was digging up the mostly dead plants. I managed to salvage this one and a few others for end of season photo's.
Continuing with my stacking, this is the result of 19 image stack that was then tweaked in LR2 and with NIK suite filters.

canon 7D
canon 100mm macro f2.8L IS USM
canon speedlite 580 EX II with 1/8" honeycomb filter, lite power 1/128th
F/8. -1 2s ISO 100
tripod, rail, helicon soft, LR2, CS3 and NIK suite

A fine looking stack Craig and the yellow and red of the dahlia is beautiful against the black bg. The light seems a touch warm and intrusive to me here but I suspect that's pretty subjective on my part. Gorgeous flower and image.
