One of my daisies from this year. I wanted push the exposure to the limit for a different look to this flower. Nice learning experience. Larry

Larry, for whatever reason I feel as though this is a portrait on an easel when I view this image.
I like the high-key effect.
Dislike the background; the transition from the tan to the white seems to be somewhat abrupt.
You didn't mention any cropping. Would have loved to see this daisy with more height and a vertical crop.
Interesting post.

Very interesting presentation Larry. I really like the translucent nature of some of the petals as well as the fine light on the front of the flower. Did you use any fill light or bounced light for this shot?

Larry:
Couldn't do better than this if I tried. Just wonderful how the petal is translucent against the high key bg.

Been seeing some terrifically lit floral images on this forum lately and this is one of them. Nice stuff!

I like the color of the flower and the high key effect Larry. I think the BG would be a bit nicer if it was evenly lit. Nice shot overall.

Larry, this is genius! Also a fresh, artistic look at a common subject. Dramatic. Effective. The way you made this, the flower is a real "show-off!"

The centre of the flower is wonderful Larry!, i like wot u've done with the exposure but if it were my image i'd have tone the hightlight by a bit (but that's very subjective)

You're really taking these high key images in an interesting direction, Larry. The effect here seems to me like brushwork on canvas, and I'm not wholly sure I can go with it as yet, Will keep looking !!
