Reaching in

From a series I took in a local stream this fall. This reflection of fall leaves in gently flowing water. "the arm" is actually the tree trunk but I thought it gave the impression of reaching into molten metal.
All comments welcome.

Canon 5D MKII 70-200mm f4

For those interested, the PP on this one was simply a little LR clarity and vibrancy plus TK Glow action and TK web sharpening.

Bob this is so lovely. :toast: By the way did you use any special filters to get these results?

Amazing colors and shapes. Well done. What were the camera techs on this shot...if you don't mind sharing.

I'm very fond of that horizontal melting metal, Bob. As well as the silver intermingled with the colors. I'll echo David's question. What did you do to the image? Not a criticism, but rather a question. I think it would make a fantastic print.

Mesmerizing image. Is this a straight shot? The pattern is quite unique.

It sure does, Bob. And the leaves do look like molten metal. A fine abstraction with lots of texture and interest.

This has a real organic, pulsating feel Bob. It would look fantastic printed on a metal substrate.

Bob: While the colors are not as intense or dramatic this may be my favorite of the series. The water patterns are just compelling IMO. Most excellent shot. >=))>
