Nikon D300, Nikkor 17-55 2.8 @35mm. F/8, 1/40, ISO 200.

With billions of leaves around me, I tried to find interesting form but could only find this maze of color and chaos. Comments appreciated.

Beautiful chaos though. Myriads of colors, shapes, and sizes. :toast:

Great colors
Maybe a bit more saturation and contrast?

It is color and chaos, Albert but it's beautiful. Perhaps isolating one color such as the reds and adding a curves correction might make the reds pop out and the design might be less chaotic.

Not sure ...

Nice collection of colours in this Albert, maybe a bit more of colour poping will make this even better :wavey:

I like the suggestions to add a touch more contrast to make those colors sing. As posted, it's beautiful anyway. Despite the chaos, to me it comes together beautifully.

Albert,

I think there are a lot of other things you could do with this and you'd still have a beautiful and interesting image but this one is already in that class for my tastes.

I like this Albert. You've done a good job extracting a pleasing comp from this mass fall migration. Well done.

Albert! Colorful and chaotic, indeed, but it works well. What, did you spend an extra hour or so turning the leaves' color side up? NONE of the leaf piles around here look so good! (Just kidding, now, you know... about turning leaves over. I think you had a great eye to come up with this comp.)
