My wife took this shot of Harley and I cogitating Zone System adustments at the bridge over the Merced at Happy Isles in Yosemite, while Maggie kept a watchful eye on the proceedings.

Sure is a nice looking dog. Sorry I can't say the same about the other two mutts.

You've seemed to have dressed alike for the occasion. Very nice

Fun shot. Not sure if you were aware of this, but dogs aren't allowed on hiking trails in Yosemite. They are only allowed on the paved bike paths on the valley floor. Pretty sure I had my information correct, but googled for a link just to be sure: http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/magazine/m0902/f0902_1b.shtml

Rodney,

Thanks. I am aware of the rule and this was on a paved path, so I was not in danger of doing any hard time (or getting a $600 fine). Appreciate the heads up.

Yeah, Harley's just a rule breaker. You should see the stash of firearms he keeps in the camper! Maggie is really just a ruthless guard dog!

Great shot Preston! You guys look way to serious. Either that or you're completely at a loss as to what you're doing or looking at.

Hey, What's your F stop?!?!

Let's compare the images you both made there. Looks like you're pointing at the same subject.

Jeffrey,

Harley was using a 450 and I was using a 300mm. There were nice reflections and rocks in the stream--we'll see. My film is out for processing, at the moment.

"You guys look way to serious. Either that or you're completely at a loss as to what you're doing or looking at  "

Most likely the latter, at least in Harley's case. I always know what I'm doing! :jump:

Compared to Maggie, you and I do look a bit scruffy.

How about f-32, and don't Ka-Choo!

Just to note, we had to ask folks to wait while making our actual exposures because anyone walking on the bridge caused a noticeable vibration.

It was a fun trip! My film should be here in a couple of days.
