Path into Upper Antelope

I took this picture last week in Upper Antelope Canyon just outside of Page, Arizona.

I really liked the way the light and shadows hit the canyon walls.

Interesting. Certainly different and unexpected. I'm going to have to mull over this one for awhile.

I always wanted to go to Antelope Canyon - hopefully next year. Is it everything they say it is? The colors here look a lot more muted than I've seen in other photos. What time of the day was it? This is a nice shot, but if it were mind, I might bump up the saturation.

Depth of field looks good and I like the tones; it looks a little dark on my monitor Jonathan. Have a great weekend.

Looks good to me. On my screen the shadows also look very dark.

What I like most about this is the real feeling of natural lighting. I think you could emphasize that a lot more by creating another version in black and white and then just adjusting the contrast in the lit areas. Great pic Jonathan.

I like this a lot. Very different but mysterious and effective. I think perhaps a bit more mid-tone contrast would really help the textures in the walls, but I like the darkness and the muted colors.

Really sweet take on a much photographed subject. I like how you have downplayed the colors in favor of lines and textures, light and shadow.

Looks very spooky in there, but the mystery is extremely inviting. I like the way you've arranged the light and shadows. Excellent!

The mood of this image is what strikes me the most but it looks a bit dark on my screen too

I'm always thrilled to see new interpretations of familiar places and this one is superb. I love the plays of light and shadows and the graceful lines in the canyon walls. Definitely a departure from the standard brightly colored images of Antelope, and an exceptional one at that.
