Hello,
I don't know the name and the family of this small reptile taken in South Texas at Estero Llano SP. It was interesting to observe him for a while camouflaged in the surrounding.

40D 100-400 @400
f8,0 1/50
ISO 400
-0,33

Thanks for viewing.
C&C are very welcome.

Hi! I think he may be a Brown Anole (Anolis sagrei), which is introduced to the southern tip of Texas. Love the uniform BG and great sharpness on the lizard!

Definitely a great shot - nice and sharp on the Anole (?) and beautifully uniform colors.

Nice image if the little guy. The only nit I would have is the oof leaf at the bottom right is kind of distracting.

Nicely done and good details in the reptile. I think it'd be a stronger image if the little guy was more isolated, but I still like the way the shape of the dead leaf mimics the subject.

Monica:
Nice eye contact. This fellow must be nicely camouflage as it looks very similar to the dried leaves. Good find.

Whatever specie, it's very cool Monica.
The green BG contrasts well, and the dried OOF leaf compliments the reptile here :toast:
