Just taken a shower

Hello,
this one was taken at Laguna Atascosa NWR (TX). I like the wet look of this green jay. It was very hot, I wanted to get me wet too, but there wasn't water enough for both.

Very nice , looks like an alien . Jays after bathing often take curious aspects , I have an old analogic where this bird shows a punk head .

The wet look sure makes this bird look strange all right, Monica. Fun image. Very well captured too. We see plenty of detail with even the point of the bill in focus and a catchlight too. The green background is great match to the bird's colors also.
