Yep, everyon'e got one - a pic of the Crack below the Subway in Zion. Well, here's my Crack. I had to bend over quite a bit to expose my Crack. I hope you enjoy looking at my Crack. To see more of my Crack, visit my daily photoblog.

Aren't we supposed to Just Say NO To Crack?

Great image - used to seeing yellow leaves around the crack - do love the red. Never been there just going from what I have seen in past photos. Well captured.

What do crazy eyed lamas feed on? Maple syrup sprinkled on crack

I like the longer view of the crack! Most shots do show less crack.

Leaf placement? I swear, those leaves fell there all on their own in exactly the positions you see here . . .

Your shot seems to be a little more original than the ones I saw before. Maybe because of the leaves? The glow is mesmerizing.

I'll try avoid being too crude and just state that I really like the metallic wet sheen on the rocks.

Nice shot Ian. I guess it is like a lot of other shots but how many ways can you shoot a crack? Yours is very nice because it's so wet and the colors and nicely saturated. The red/blue combination is particularly striking. The motion of the water running down the crack is also very nice and adds a contrast in texture. The leaves look nicely arranged.

Definitely feels like an original approach to the crack. I really like the shutter speed choice and textures in the water. On the flipside... I wish there wasn't so much glare on the left side of the crack. I also do prefer the more standard comp as you get a simpler, cleaner, and tighter composition which I think leads to a more appealing presentation. While this image does give more details as to what the crack is all about, I like the air of mystery as a result of the top down, tighter view.

Just thought I'd throw up a counterpoint! I'm digging your Zion images Ian, looking forward to more!

Ok time for bandwagon jumping if those leaves were just slight differently shaped and colored it would be a crack pot photo. Ian, I think you just wanted to see how many times you could get the word crack into a post, so I thought I'd take a crack at a critique. But there's not a crack to wedge a nit into this is just wonderful by "cracky"...I'd better stop.

LMFAO!!! You are a funny man, Ian!
You have a beautiful crack. I'm glad you did all that bending over to expose it. Looks like you've done quite a bit of hiking, cause your crack is a bit wet.
