As winter nears, Augusta is blooming with flowers. Might be why it's called the "garden city"

Neat whites and yellows, Bob. I like the colors and the detail of the flowers. Would like to see flowers like this with some specific composition for the eyes to follow--maybe triangles, lines, S-curve ...
Don't know.

Bob,
To me this has an "in your face" feel and I like that. I also like the shadows and your control of the whites. I'm now wild about the buds in the lower right corner and might crop in from the right and clone the remaining bud out. I would hate to give up the flower in the upper right corner though - so I guess I'd have to see it to know whether the tradeoff was worth it. Good looking image as posted for my tastes.

Robert:
Lovely looking flowers. Wish the image is a light brighter and all the blooms are in focus; the OOF lower blooms is slightly distracting.

There's a feeling of gaiety about this, Robert - a very effective, loose composition which works beautifully for me with these flowers.

THis looks just great to me, Robert. The oof blooms add a sense of depth, and I like the buds in there, too. Well handled whites and yellows- a couple of the hardest colors to work with; the image has radiance to it and is very cheerful.

Bob: I like the comp and subject but this is really underexposed. On the histogram there are no values above 200 and brightening it gives it more pop and impact IMO. >=))>

I like your pov and pof. Your dof works well, too. Nice light and treatment of the whites. Well done.
