Just playing with my new toy camera (Canon SD 1400). I got this camera so I could have a camera on me at all times. Since I do a lot of texture shots this little point and shoot should not be a problem. This is my first test. Not sure about the light post. I used Flypaper textures on this image.

nice texturing, and yes I agree with you on the lamppost. How do you like the new camera, btw?

I like the camera Rob. I always use my Canon 40D but I wanted a little camera I could carry around just to get some creative shots. If I see something I like I just pull the camera out of my pocket and shoot. Texturing is not so much about sharpness but about the mood. The camera has 14 mega pixels which doesn't mean all that much due to the lens but the camera does what I need it to do. The images seem a bit soft and you can't shoot in RAW but I don't think that will be a problem for the textured images.

Processing works well with the subject.

Hi David :wavey: Jeez!!! What does everyone have against that poor lamp post? Its antiqued look goes well with the old bridge. This looks like an old print taken 100 years age. Very nice

The added effect makes it look like a well worn and often viewed photograph. I like it.
A sure fire winner with the old iron bridges crowd :)
Well done :toast:
