This is somewhat of an iconic location in Hudson valley, but getting the right color and the right light at the same time is a different challenge.

This is beautiful. Great fall colors. The bridges are a nice element.

Well done, Arnab. I really like the vibrant colors you captured. Excellent light and composition.

It's been years, but I can remember when it was the main way to get across the Hudson in that part of the state, before I84 was done. Guess I telling my age.

Arnab,

The only very minor nit is the motion blur in the lower portion of the photo on one green tree. Otherwise a really nice somposition and an excellent vantage point.

Incredible autumn color, Arnab, and I really enjoy the blue tones in the river and how the bridges seem to be catching some of the reflected blue light. Outstanding.

Arnab: This is an image that has so many subtle elements. It beckons the viewer to linger and study it. I did find myself wondering if I would like it better if just a bit of the blue sky at the top were cropped off. The clouds do add interest, though.

But the repeating patterns of the bridges are just a wonderful element, as are the reflections. They are one of the subtle elements, other than the first bridge reflection. I love the splash of color that creeps out from the left bank of the river in the water in the middle of the frame, as well as the subtle reflections of the vibrant foliage in various parts of the river. The light and fall colors are also nice and as you say, timing for them is everything and you seem to have timed it well.

Very Nice Image
