I didn't get to do a whole lot of dragonfly shooting this summer as the weather didn't cooperate and my favorite pond didn't quite recover as I had hoped. Oh well, what do you do.
I found this one clinging to a dieing plant this past September.

Nikon D300 w/105mm f/2.8g VR
1/4sec. f/11 ISO400
Tripod, Cable Release.

One very wet dragonfly. Nice comp., background and the water droplets covering the dragonfly really make the image.
