Air & Water No. 25

This is my 25th image in a series combining different sky shots with water images. (haven't posted them all). Both of these images are from Tennessee taken about 2 weeks apart. The sky image had about 40-50 birds caught in silhouette. I added 4 birds that were made with brushes in PS. I'll post again in a few days showing which birds were created with PS brushes. (what a tease I am... ) Your comments and guesses are always welcome. I've also posted a larger, 1200px image.

Very nice - the way the birds seem to be following the rays of light

Marc, If the truth be told, when I opened this image I thought I was viewing and explosion of some sort taking place in the water. I looked a second time and that's all I could see.

I'll come back with fresh eyes.

Congratulations on the EP, Marc.

Marc that is some sky and I love the reflected colors on the water. Exceptional. :toast: Oh yeah the birds are a big plus.

Great sky, the rays of light and the birds moving in that direction is a nice capture - or addition. I'm guessing you added the 4 larger & lighter birds in the upper left quadrant. The left hand side of this image holds together well, but there's an orange/violet glow on the right at the waterline that detracts from the impact...almost a halo like effect...if you can tame that it would be stronger.

This is pretty cool! Love the light rays and the birds. The clouds seem too dark and too blue/purple for my tastes. I would warm the sky a bit. Interesting combination of elements.

That's really a powerful scene . . . a bit unreal with the way the clouds meet the horizon, but quite compelling nonetheless.

You make the most amazingly creative images. I always have to look when I see an image is yours. This one has a slightly ominous mood.

What an image. The birds being ejected from the clouds. Love it. And Congrats.
