Woody Reflection

I was drawn to the calmness in this image. There was no breeze at all and the duck remained completely still long enough for me to grab 2 images before it was off again. I also think it is cool that I can see the horizon and sunrise reflecting in it's eye when viewing @ 100%. All C&C welcome.

Nice work with the fill flash Kirk, love the water and how the subdued colors help the wood duck to stand out. The duck's colors are wonderful with very natural tones. Love the reflection

Nicely done Kirk. I like the reflection, natural colors, calm water with soft colors and the difficult exposure looks good.

Very nice, I've been after a shot like that for a long time. If it is that good with the soft light and subtle colors in the water and no stress evident in the bird whatsoever, I will be very happy.

The water is super here Kirk. Love the use of flash here. Really natural looking. The reflection makes this stand out to me, really painterly like. Very well done.

I always enjoy a good wood duck image. Great reflection that you have here. Do wish for a bit lower angle.
