Here is an iconic image from Lake Louise. I am going to share three or four images from our hike around the lake and up to the valley of six glaciers. But I thought I would start with the iconic image.

Canon 30D
Sigma 17-70
Aperture Priority
Shutter 1/750
Aperture f11
ISO 400
30mm

Nice comp, but i dont know if it is your processing or the angle or time of day/light, but the lake looks very dull. One of the main reasons Lake Louise is an icon is due to the brilliant lake color, so the shot really suffers w/o that element. It's probably my favorite spot in N America, so i look forward to the rest. :wavey:

Maybe you could try to lighten up the left side in the background. It's a little distracting for me. This one's beautiful, but I'm sure you have others in better light.

I think as a series this is going to be a fun journey. Looking forward to the seeing the place from different angles.
