What a beautiful bird, Sandy. You held the whites very well, especially on the face and the detail around the eye / fleshy pink area is superb, BG is a beauty too. Very nicely done.

Nicely done, Sandy. Charlie, with light colors and BG, the D300s will hold without appreciable noise up to 1000 ISO.

Nice detail and colors. I'd go slightly darker for more feather texture on the shoulder.

Love the view of the blue eye Sandy, the comp you used and the nice colors of the background. The detail around the face is just wonderful.

Sandy, I love the sharpness and BG on this. Exposure is spot on. Also the bit of sand/dirt at the end of that long bill is a nice touch. This crop works very well, but just curious if you tried a portrait crop as well?
