Neat wing position, Scott. I like the light.

Scott, I like the position you caught the bird in and your overall choice of comp. Looks like you cloned out the post or piling that the bird was landing on. The clone job is very noticeable even in this smaller image. Water patterns do not match and there are repeated patterns also. I would prefer to see whatever the bird was landing on, but that is just me.

Scott,
I like the landing pose of the gull with the flared tail, dangling feet and the wings. The water in the background is very nice except for the area under the bird where the clone marks are fairly obvious. I don't know what was there, if it would add or detract from the image, but I would work on making it appear more natural. As posted that area draws my eyes away from the gull

Hi Scott,
great capture the wing position is excellent exposure and all else look spot on
I do agree that you either need to replace whatever the bird was landing on or do a much better clone job

Great wing position from the gull and very good timing from yourself, Scott. Slight nit covered.
