Wonderful pose and a very determined looking duck in flight, Ron. Great to see these speedy fliers so sharply captured. The OOF bg gives a nice three dimensional effect here too. A couple of touch-ups in the background to reduce brightness of small distractions are worth considering: Rich pointed out the orange blob above the neck; another small yellow one behind the wing is a candidate too. :toast:

Wonderful flight shot. It's a terrific pose, and she's positioned perfectly, moving parallel to the camera. Terrific! :toast:

Amazing detail and sharpness fro a fast flying bird like this. All that experience has paid off nicely.

Excellent wing position, eye contact, details and sharpness. I'm fine with the background though I might consider toning that one bright spot behind the neck, I wouldn't not remove it. That is a minute issue when you have this much detail, natural colors and sharpness. When I look at this it is the beauty of this fast flying duck that gets my attention.

Nice score Ron! I see you patiently waiting and again it paid off. Orange dot above duck is a bit noticible but the image is spot on!

Amazing Ron. I can't imagine getting this speedster this sharp and 70% of FF. Love the wing position and the nice light on the duck against the darker background. I don't think the "orange blob" is a big deal but one possibility would be to tone it down a little.

Gee Ron, you could definitely fill an album or two with top shelf flight photos, this is another! Nothing to pick at, love the colors in the water and sharpness on that duck. :toast:

razor sharp flight shot on a fast bird, Ron. sweet pose and light. the colors in the bg catch my eye as a little odd.

Brian, the colors in the BG are a comb of lilly pads and the reflection from trees along the far bank of the pond. This is early morning light. Be assured, everything is as shot. I do not clone much and if I do, I always say so.
